TOUR OPERATOR AND TRAVEL AGENT ACTIVITY 
Vakancia Ltd. is with 20 years of experience in the field of tourism and bus-transport, offering excursions and vacations in the interest and specific needs of each client. 


The programs and excursions that we offer have been tested many times during the years. The trips are organized in the so called „closed cycle”, e.g. Vakancia Ltd. is organizing the whole trip from the transport with its own coaches to the hotel reservations and professional guides. We have our own luxury coaches, we provide overnight stays in the hotels, guide services and organization of the whole program. 


TRANSPORT ACTIVITY 
Vakancia Ltd. offers direct licensed regular international bus lines to a number of towns in Italy, France and Spain. For our clients' convenience there is a Customer Service telephone hot line available 24 hours a day. 


We pride ourselves with the successful development and operation of maybe the only online reservation system in Bulgaria for direct selling and payment of bus tickets. This program development took us several years to complete but now the company can sell tickets directly through its website. 


The company owns several luxury 3*** tourist coaches: MERCEDES, SCANIA, SETRA, MAN - all equipped with DVD player, air-conditioning, microphone, fridge, coffee-machine, mini-bar, comfortable and adjustable seats. 


CITY SIGHTSEEING BRAND 
Since May 1st, 2008 the company owns the trade mark for the brand “City Sightseeing” thus offering city sightseeing tours around Sofia to foreign and Bulgarian tourists.

Beside the tour-operator activities, the company is also dealing in the organization of scientific conferences, seminars, round tables and exhibitions - home and abroad as well as fulfilling leading training programs in the field of staff qualification and re-qualification, and foreign language courses for corporate clients. 



TRADE SHOWS AND EXHIBITIONS 
For 6 years now the company has established a successful partnership with the Trade Department of the USA embassy in the organisation of annual visits to exhibitions and trade shows in different business sectors in the United States. Such trade shows for example are SEMA and AAIW in Las Vegas, NRA in Chicago, ExpoPack East in Las Vegas. 


PUBLISHING HOUSE - COACHES AND VANS MAGAZINE 
The company is the owner of the only professional magazine in Bulgaria for coaches, buses and vans. The magazine was first issued in 2005 and until now this is the only specialized edition in this field. It gives our company the opportunity to make contacts with media, journalists, as well as to organize seminars for Bulgarian and foreign participants home and abroad. The magazine is the media partner of the leading specialized world exhibitions - Busworld Kortrijk, Busworld Turkey, Busworld Nyzhny Novgorod, IFEMA Madrid, Bus and Coach in Birmingham. 

The magazine also organizes the national annual events: “Best Bus Company of the Year” and “Best bus driver of the Year” giving out awards to the best specialists in the field. 

We are in close contact with the professional technical schools in Bulgaria, helping the schools in different projects, organising professional visits to Austria and Turkey and writing every month in a special column of the magazine about them 

EUROPEAN PROJECTS 
The company has concluded and successfully fulfilled contracts for transport and tourism services with the Ministry of Finances, the Association of the Danube municipalities, the Department of Education to the Sofia Municipality, and from the end of 2009 the company takes part in Public Orders towards the Operation Programme “Regional Development 2007-2013”. 

The company has won and fulfilled projects from this Programme in 2010 with: 
1.) Georgi Damianovo municipality with subject “Technical help in conducting education with educational visits to Villamarchant County, Spain, and organisation of visits of representatives of the partner from Villamarchant County”, financed through the scheme for granting gratuitous financial help BG161PO001/4.2-01/2008 “Support for the interregional cooperation and transfer of best practices”, Priority Axis 4 “Local development and cooperation”, Operation 4.2 “Interregional cooperation. 
2.) Peshtera municipality for the project “Granting of tour operator services for conducting partner meetings, forum and education in Bulgaria and Spain for the project “Creation of a model for international cooperation”. 
3.) Contract with the Ministry of Defense for “Transportation of the employees of Base 18270 – Gorna Malina, to their workplace and back”. 
4.) In September 2011 was completed an activity with the Ministry of Agriculture and Foods, namely “Participation in seminars and discussions on subject “Public Orders of the Programme for Development of the Village Areas”, in the period 02-04.09.2011”, financed by a line for technical help of the Programme for Development of the Village Areas (2007-2013 
5.) In September 2011 the company applied for the Operation Programme “Development of the competency of the Bulgarian economy (2007 – 2013)” for “Covering the internationally recognised standards and implementation of systems of management in the companies”, for which we expect a positive answer from the Ministry of Economics, Energy and Tourism 

CLIENTS 
Our clients have been: Ministries, Transport companies from Bulgaria and Europe, Municipalities, Embassies, associations, High Schools etc. 

A large business client of ours for the year 2011 is “Euro 07” Plc. – a supplier of spare parts, for which our company prepared and performed seminars in Veliko Turnovo and Burgas, and also a visit of a delegation in China for 12 days in October 2011. 

New clients of the company are the Union of the Bulgarian teachers, the National Banking Union of DSK bank with who we organise seminar programs on regular basis.
